Spring at Lakewood Camping Resort in Myrtle Beach

There is never truly an off-season at Lakewood Camping Resort. Spring is when everything begins opening back up. The days get longer, mornings warm up, evenings stretch later at the Trading Post, and the first signs of pool weather return. It is also one of the most comfortable times of year to visit the Grand Strand, with mild temperatures and lower crowds.

Along with seasonal activities, spring also brings back one of our favorite traditions. Our Public Service Appreciation promotion returns, giving qualifying public service professionals a special opportunity to enjoy an oceanfront Myrtle Beach camping trip before the busy summer season. It is our way of saying thank you while offering a quieter time to experience the resort.

Here is what to expect over the next several weeks around the campground.

Why Wait Until Summer?

Spring at Lakewood Camping Resort is not about waiting for summer. Each week, something stays open later, starts operating again, or adds more energy to the day. The atmosphere stays lively while remaining relaxed, which makes it one of the best times to plan a Myrtle Beach camping vacation.

Between mild coastal weather, returning amenities, seasonal events, and special promotions like Public Service Appreciation, spring offers a chance to enjoy the resort before peak season arrives. If you like Lakewood when everything is running but never rushed, this is your time to visit.
